ART2

There was a mother who used to beat her son constantly, perhaps daily, and when she beat him she didn't care whether it was in front of everyone or in secret, it didn't make a difference at all.

The strange thing is that her son never cried, never complained or grumbled about his mother’s harsh treatment. He never uttered any words, never raised his voice at her, and never even tried to escape from her. Rather, he stood firm until she finished!

Years passed and the son did not cry or complain about his mother’s frequent beatings. The little boy became a man and a happy husband with children, and his mother still beats him, perhaps daily, in front of his children, and his condition is an example of patience and even contentment.

One day, his mother beat him in front of everyone, so the son cried so hard that his beard got completely wet. When his mother went away, those around him asked him, wanting to put an end to the confusion that had taken their minds at the time, why did you cry on that particular day and you had not cried your entire life? They wanted to know the reason behind that.

The man answered them, still crying: “How can I not cry when I feel that my mother’s strength has failed me? How can I not cry when one of the gates of heaven is about to close?!”

They were all surprised by his position, so the girl asked him about the reason behind his rejection of her, so he immediately said without hesitation: “You do not have the supreme beauty that I am looking for, there is a defect in the drawing of your eyes.”

The girl suppressed her intense anger at his actions and said in complete calm: “I will ask you one question, if you ever bought something, let’s say a computer, and you found a defect or malfunction in it, would you blame the computer for making the computer?!” The young man answered her, saying: “I definitely blame the one who made the computer, but how can I blame a computer?!”

The girl said with a smile of satisfaction: “Now you are blaming the maker for his work, so you are blaming my Lord God for making me with a defect in my eyes!”

The young man was extremely impressed by the girl, by her self-confidence, her religiousness, her extreme patience with him, and her knowledge of God Almighty, her unique way of conversing and everything, but he was shocked to the point of his life when he said to her: “I accept you as my wife and I will overlook the defect in your eyes.”

The fourth story:

One day a woman called a sheikh on his religious program…

Woman: “May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.”

Sheikh: “And upon you be peace, mercy, and blessings of God.”

The woman: “Sheikh, for fifteen years no harm has befallen me, not even a mosquito has bitten me. My husband is very well off, and my children’s educational and academic levels are at their best. I enjoy a life that anyone would wish for even a little bit of.” Before she could finish her question, the sheikh asked her in shock: “What sin did I commit fifteen years ago?!”

The woman was shocked by his question and the way he asked the question, but she answered him, saying: “Sheikh, my husband’s mother was blind, and one day while she was walking next to me, I extended my foot in her path, so she tripped and fell on her head, touching the edge of the jagged wall, and she died immediately. No one knew about this secret for fifteen years.”

The Sheikh said: “Do you know that your Lord, the Almighty, is angry with you? Didn’t you know one day that the believer is tested at all stages of his life? And from what you said, you have not been tested since you did what you did to this poor woman. God, the Almighty, has turned His gaze away from you.”
