The wife’s dignity is derived from her husband’s dignity, by preserving her feelings in front of everyone around her, and preventing any aggression against her in any form, whatever the method of this aggression, by putting his wife in the same position as him, if someone hurts her, it is as if he hurt him, and if someone insults her, it is as if he insulted him.

The story:
She made the biggest decision of her life in a moment of weakness. She decided to let her family choose the right husband for her. Despite her seeking out some qualities that would not suit her personality, she ignored everything her mind told her and simply followed her family.
She got engaged and within forty days they set a wedding date. She found her only solace in marriage and starting her married life, thereby forgetting the difficulty of the horrors that had befallen her heart. She did not know that by doing so she would only increase her worries with mountains of additional worries in addition to her old worries.
Her husband had a weak personality with his family, but was strong towards her. He always humiliated her in front of them all, to the point that he encouraged all his family members to humiliate her. She was an educated girl, but due to circumstances, she left university against her will, so she followed her mother’s words to get married and have children to fulfill her dream of having children.
At first, the girl thought that they were born with this and that this was their way of thinking and the way they were raised and brought up, so she began to make many concessions so that she would not destroy her home with her own hands, but she quickly realized the matter, the more she made concessions and was lenient with her rights, the worse the matter got, so she decided to take her rights into her own hands and marginalize her husband completely, as he usually does with his family.
She stood for herself as a solid, impregnable wall between herself and his family, and she did not allow any of them to insult her again. Every time she spoke to them and rebuked them, she found her husband insulting her in front of them, and God even made it so that he would beat her. She did not care about him and continued to stand firm in the face of their tyranny and injustice, but she reached a stage where she would abandon her husband himself.
One day, her husband beat her severely, and the four years she spent with him passed before her eyes. She saw before her eyes every moment she was wronged and every moment he insulted and cursed her. She saw the extent of her dedication to serving them all and the reward she received. Instead of their feeling grateful to her, she received nothing but ingratitude and betrayal from her husband.
She had given birth to her daughter, and for the sake of her daughter she held on to life and held on to changing her bitter reality, so she decided to separate from her husband immediately. The girl did not see any masculine qualities in him at all, so how could he be a man when she did not see in him her security and protection from the closest of relatives?!
How can she find a husband for her when she finds him sacrificing her every time to please his family?!
How can she find a man for her when he accepts for her what he would not accept for himself and his family, his family whom he must obey and please?!
Despite all the insults she received from him because of her request for divorce, and his attempt to brainwash her, she stood firm and insisted on her decision. She did not rest until she miraculously found herself in her parents’ home, with her daughter in her arms, whom she refused to leave in an environment where all the standards that we were raised and educated on according to our religious beliefs were different.
She bargained with him to get rid of him permanently, and her view of him did not disappoint, as he bargained with her to divorce him in exchange for her giving up all her dues. She agreed despite her family’s refusal, but she was a thorn in the side of everyone who stood in her way this time.
She was burned by fire and no one shared her pain. She bore the pain alone and now she is paying the price for mistakes she did not commit. She finds herself responsible for her child in an unforgiving society.
She took it upon herself to educate her daughter and not let anyone interfere in her life or her daughter's life. Despite the suitable marriage proposals she received, she rejected them all. She came out of her bitter experience with scars that may never heal as long as she lives.
Injustice is darkness, and if one day your ability calls you to oppress someone, then remember the ability of the One who is able to do so over you. The girl prays, whenever she remembers the extent of the injustice, oppression, and betrayal she was subjected to, that the one she married and his family will taste the woes in this world and the hereafter, just as they did to her one day.
She never had a good day like other girls her age, and she found herself carrying a responsibility in addition to a huge wound in her broken heart.
