The stories of the prophets and messengers mentioned in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet are the greatest evidence and proof that the Islamic religion is a comprehensive religion, as it shows us the extent of its close connection to our lives; and that the Islamic religion, in the beginning and the end, came for the benefit of mankind, and this is clear from the extent of the keenness of the prophets, peace and blessings be upon them all, in conveying the messages of their Lord to the people.

From the stories of the prophets:

First, the definition of prophets.

The prophets are the messengers of God Almighty to us, and they were sent to guide us to the straight path that God has prescribed for us so that we may reform ourselves and populate the earth. The prophets are those whom God Almighty sent to their people with the law, and God Almighty commanded them to convey His message to the people and call them to worship God, the One and Only, with no partner, glory be to Him.

First: The story of the Prophet of God Adam (the father of mankind):

God Almighty created “Adam” from clay, breathed into him from His spirit, and ordered all the angels to prostrate to him after teaching him all the names for a wisdom that only He Almighty knows…

Allah the Almighty said in His Noble Book in Surat Al-Baqarah: (And when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I will place upon the earth a successive authority.” They said, “Will You place therein one who will cause corruption therein and shed blood, while we exalt You with praise and sanctify You?” He said, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.” And He taught Adam the names – all of them. Then He showed them to the angels.) The angels. Then he said, “Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful.” They said, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise.” He said, “O Adam, inform them of their names.” And when he had informed them of their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I I know the unseen[aspects]of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you conceal. And[mention]when We said to the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” and they prostrated, except for Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

When the accursed Satan refused to prostrate to our master Adam, peace be upon him, out of arrogance, God expelled him from His mercy. He asked God to grant him respite until the Day of Resurrection to lead astray all of Adam’s descendants except for the sincere servants of God among them. So God Almighty granted him respite.

Immediately, he began to threaten Adam and his descendants. He tempted him to eat from the tree that God had forbidden him, but Adam, peace be upon him, refused. He tempted Eve that God Almighty had forbidden them from the tree so that they would not be angels or immortals, and he swore to them by that, so he made them slip and they ate from the tree, and their private parts became apparent to them, and the leaves of the tree began to fall on them to hide them.

Our master Adam asked his Lord for forgiveness for what he had done, so God Almighty repented of him, but God Almighty ordered our master Adam, his wife, and the cursed Satan to descend to the earth and that they were enemies to one another, and to remain and settle on the earth and enjoy their enjoyment for a time.

What is mentioned in the verses of the Holy Quran:

God Almighty said in His Noble Book in Surat Al-Baqarah: (And We said, “O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from it in abundance as you wish, but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers.” So Satan caused them to slip therefrom and removed them from that in which they had been. And We said, “Descend, some of you to others.”) An enemy, and for you on the earth is a place of settlement and provision for a time. Then Adam received from his Lord[some]words, and He pardoned him. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. We said, “Descend from it, all of you. And if there comes to you guidance from Me – whoever follows My guidance – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. And those who They disbelieved and denied Our signs. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

Second: The story of the Prophet of God “Idris” peace be upon him:

God Almighty raised our master “Idris” peace be upon him to the fourth heaven. Our master “Idris” peace be upon him was honored by his Lord. He was the first to write with a pen and the first to sew clothes. He taught all of humanity many life matters such as agriculture and carpentry. He obeyed the commands of his Lord Almighty and called for worshipping Him alone, with no partner.

It was mentioned in the Qur’an that our noble Messenger, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw him in the fourth heaven during the Isra and Mi’raj journey.

Third: The story of the Prophet of God, “Moses,” peace be upon him:

The story of Moses, peace be upon him, is considered one of the stories of the prophets most mentioned in the Holy Quran. It is the story most mentioned in the Holy Quran and the largest in terms of its mention in the chapters and verses of the Holy Quran…

Our master Moses, peace be upon him, was one of the resolute messengers. He was armed with faith and the power of faith while confronting the unjust tyrant Pharaoh, who was arrogant and tyrannical.

The Prophet of God, Moses, peace be upon him, faced many difficulties and challenges while carrying out his Lord’s message. Pharaoh had become arrogant and oppressive on earth, weakening the Children of Israel. So God Almighty sent him to Pharaoh to call him to worship God alone, with no partner.

Pharaoh was arrogant and did not believe in the message of Moses and called him a magician after he saw the miracle of the Prophet of God Moses, peace be upon him. Despite the warnings that came to him from God Almighty to stop his injustice and believe, he insisted on his arrogance and became even more arrogant.

God Almighty said in His Noble Book in Surat Al-A’raf: (So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people). So the punishment was for Pharaoh when God ordered His Prophet “Moses” peace be upon him to go out with those who believed with him from his people, so Pharaoh followed them with his soldiers and besieged them, and there was nothing before them but the sea and behind them Pharaoh and his soldiers, so they were certain of their destruction.

But our master Moses told them, saying: “My Lord is with me, my master.” Indeed, God Almighty commanded him to strike the sea with his staff, and the sea split in two, each half like a huge mountain. Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them, and God Almighty closed the sea over them. The punishment of the tyrant Pharaoh was that he drowned until his soul left him.
