History has told us that one day, Al-Nasir “Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi” summoned the chief of police in Damascus (the Minister of the Interior, as we call him today) and ordered him to announce to the people that no one should sleep with his door locked and that no merchant should close the door of his shop when going home.
The police chief was surprised by Salah El-Din’s request at that time and tried to convince him not to do it because of the seriousness of the matter, but Salah El-Din insisted on carrying out his order immediately.
Indeed, he ordered one of his men to inform the people of Damascus, who were then about one hundred and fifty individuals. The next day, he ordered “Salah al-Din,” the chief of police, to repeat the order to all the people, and on the third and fourth days.
Then Salah El-Din called him and asked him: (Have you been informed of any thefts in the past four days?)
The police chief replied, “No, sir.”
At this moment, Saladin said to the commander of his army, who was in the council from the beginning: “Now declare the mobilization for battle. By God, if I report a single theft, I will postpone the battle for ten years.”
What Salahuddin Ayyubi did was to reassure the internal front, which he built and established on the truth. Do you know how we can be victorious?!
The second story:

She was very worried about his condition, so she asked him with great concern: “What’s wrong with you?!”
His veins were clearly visible on his face from the intensity of his anger and nervousness that was controlling him at the time. He answered her question while he was searching for some important papers: “My sister is downstairs with my mother, and her husband and his family are about to arrive to divorce her.”
His wife was shocked and very sad about her husband's sister's divorce, so she asked her with great sadness: “Divorce?! What happened between them to make them take such a destructive decision for their lives?! The decision to divorce and separate.”
Her husband breathed a sigh of relief, holding a cigarette in his hand, and said, “He married her into a family home and told me so, and I didn’t mind.”
His wife interrupted him, saying, “But she lives in the apartment above them, not with her mother-in-law.”
He nodded in agreement with her words and continued defending his sister’s rights: “But his mother herself enslaves her. She always sets stifling rules for her that rob her of her freedom. She has to go down early in the morning to serve her. They eat lunch at her place and do not go up to their apartment until they are asleep. She cannot raise her two daughters alone, as his mother interferes in every little and big thing, and her son is in complete obedience to her orders.”
His wife sadly nodded in agreement, after a while she said: “But everything you mentioned should not be a cause of home destruction!”
Her husband replied, “Of course these are not all the reasons. In addition to his weak personality towards his mother, her husband beats her, in addition to being stingy with his feelings and money towards her, and always biased towards his family.”
His wife asked him in astonishment: “How can a man be biased towards his family?!”
He said to her: “He refuses to give her money in her hand, incited by his mother.”
His wife said to him: “Perhaps his husband is suffering from financial difficulties and all he asks of his wife is for her to support him and stand by him until he becomes financially stable.”
At this moment, her husband's voice came to her angrily, saying: “And she wastes the prime of her youth serving his mother and brothers and depriving her?!”
His wife nodded and said: “But your sister is still too young to separate. Do you want her to ruin her youth on her two daughters?!”
He immediately answered her nervously, and her words did not please him: “Absolutely not. As soon as she separates from her husband, she will get married and leave her two daughters with my mother, and they will certainly be in the care of all of us.”
His wife smiled calmly and continued her conversation with her husband…
The wife calmly: “Here are the papers you are looking for, hurry up or you will be late.”
The husband quickly went down to his mother's apartment. The husband's family had arrived and the two families were gathered together waiting for the marriage registrar. Only a few moments later, the registrar arrived and the divorce took place.
He stayed by his sister's side, comforting her with his mother and reassuring her heart. He told her that he wasn't right for her and that tomorrow someone better than him would come, someone who could protect her and appreciate her love for him and the extent of her sacrifices for him. He assured her that she deserved someone better than her.
Before he went up to his wife in her apartment above his mother’s apartment, his mother told him: “Tell your wife to wake up in the morning earlier than before, because your sister is sad and needs someone to serve her and her two daughters, and you and her should not be late.”
Her son nodded and reassured her, saying, “How could she be late?! If she did, she would know the consequences of her actions. She would spend the night, as usual, beaten and crying.”
His mother confirmed her previous words: “And don’t give her any money in her hands.”
Her son assured her that he would only do that in her dreams. He asked his mother's permission to go upstairs, and she gave him permission.
As soon as he reached his apartment, he called his wife repeatedly, but no one answered. The strange thing was that he did not hear a sound in the entire apartment. He started searching, but he did not find his wife or his two sons. Then he found a piece of paper in his bedroom and on his bed from his wife, and it was written on it…
My situation is like your sister's! You don't differentiate anything from her husband, but rather increase your cruelty towards him.
