The first story:
One of the most beautiful short stories ever, useful, but who will read it with certainty, conviction and sincerity…
It was well-known among the Muslims of Chechnya and Circassia that if a clash broke out between men and became so intense that they took up swords and intended to fight each other, the only thing that would stop the raging fighting between them was for a woman to stand between them and remove her veil from her head. The men would immediately stop fighting, having recovered from the fit of anger that had overcome them due to the shock of the action, and would look downwards for fear that their eyes would fall on what they had been ordered to avert their eyes from.

One of the most beautiful short stories ever too…
The group of authors of the six books of Sulayman al-Taymi (one of the hadith masters) narrated that he spent forty years fasting one day and breaking his fast the next, and praying the dawn prayer with the ablution of the evening prayer. This is evidence that he was regular in performing the night prayer. When he died, a female servant of his said to her mother: “O mother, what happened to the clothes hanger that was on the roof?”
The maid thought that “Sulayman al-Taymi” was a clothes hanger. For your information, a clothes hanger is a wooden pole on which clothes are hung.

One of the most beautiful sayings that you can benefit from as long as you live is the saying of “Al-Khademi Al-Hanafi”: (The one who is arrogant towards the arrogant is charity, because if you were humble towards him, he would persist in his misguidance, and if you were arrogant towards him, he would be aware).
Imam Al-Shafi’i also said: “Be arrogant to the arrogant twice.”
Al-Zuhri said: “Being arrogant towards the people of this world is the strongest bond of Islam.”
Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him, said: “The most unjust of oppressors is the one who humbles himself before someone who does not pay attention to him.”
Arrogance may be to alert the arrogant person, not to elevate the soul, and thus it is highly praiseworthy, such as arrogance towards the ignorant and the rich and powerful. Yahya bin Muadh said: “Arrogance towards someone who is arrogant towards you with his wealth is humility.”
One day, the Umayyad Caliph, Suleiman bin Abdul Malik, came to Tawus but he did not speak to him. When he was asked about the reason, the Caliph said: “I wanted him to know that among God’s servants there are those who belittle what they consider great in themselves.”
Al-Mubarrad recited a poem about the necessity and importance of creating arrogance towards the arrogant, saying…
If a friend comes to you, he will be arrogant
He was very angry with that friend
Assigning rights to someone other than a shepherd
Your rights are the head of wasting rights.

The fourth story:
One of the most beautiful short stories ever too…
It was mentioned in our lofty and ancient history that “Muhammad bin A’yan” who was a companion of Ibn al-Mubarak on his journey said: (We were in the conquest of the Romans one night, and suddenly Abdullah bin al-Mubarak put his head in front of me to show me that he was sleeping, so I put my head on the spear to show him that I was sleeping too, so he thought that I was asleep, so he got up and started praying, and he continued praying until dawn came, then he woke me up thinking that I was asleep, so he said: O Muhammad, so I told him: I did not sleep! And as soon as he heard that from me, I did not see him after that talking to me or opening up to me in any of his conquests, I was certain that he did not like that from me, I realized that from the work, so I did not stop recognizing it in him until he died, and I did not see a man who was more pleased with good than him).

The fifth story:
One of the most beautiful short stories ever too…
Umm Salamah (may God be pleased with her) emigrated from Mecca to Medina alone, carrying her infant. While she was on the road in the barren desert, she was found by Uthman ibn Talhah, who was one of the infidels of Quraysh. He asked her: “Where are you going, O daughter of Abu Umayyah?!”
She replied: (I want my husband in Medina), so he asked her: (Is there anyone with you?), so she replied: (I have no one with me except God and my son).
Then Uthman bin Talha was taken by the chivalry and pride of the Arabs, and he refused to leave her alone without protection. He set off with her until he reached Medina, and he never raised his eyes to her. Whenever they stopped at a place, he would delay her out of chivalry and pride.
When he looked at the palm trees of Medina, he told her, saying: “This is the land you want, so enter it,” and he left, returning to his home in Mecca.
The most beautiful thing about the story is that “Uthman bin Talha” was a polytheist who fought against the religion of God and everyone who followed this new religion. Despite that, he took a Muslim woman who was not of his religion to take her to her husband who was not of his religion either. He treated her well and turned a blind eye to her for a distance estimated at five hundred kilometers. He spent days covering this long distance, and as soon as he finished what he wanted, he returned to Mecca without resting. He turned back without anyone seeing him, to continue the same journey he had covered in days without expecting any reward from anyone.
These were the morals of the Arabs. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs, regarding those who created and excelled in moral reasons and labyrinths in order to separate our morals from us, so we became as you see us now.
The wise Arab, Al-Ahnaf bin Qais, said: “The Arabs will remain Arabs as long as they wear turbans, carry swords, and do not consider patience as humiliation or mutual gifts as weakness.”
